1953 Gibson Les Paul Goldtop
How often are you able to find 50s Les Paul goldtops that have not been cut on, altered, or messed with in any way.
Here is your chance, here is an original owner 1953 Les Paul in stunning all-original, good condition with the original case.
This guitar was consigned to us by the son of the original owner and includes a picture of the original owner during his time in the US Navy with this guitar circa 1954.
Ok, the important stuff. This is not a converted trapeze guitar, this is an original stop-bar model with a very playable neck angle, something that can be kind of hard to find on a 1953 Goldtop.
Everything is here and there has been no work performed on it, all of the solder joints are original as are the pickups, the frets, the tuning machines, and even the battered and worn original cali girl case with the original owner’s name and Navy Serial Number.
There is lacquer checking throughout the guitar and there are a few nicks in the finish in the front of the guitar, the pictures are great and tell all.
She weighs in at 7lbs 15oz.
